Billings Public Library will host a sequence of coding applications for youngsters and teenagers throughout Pc Science Training Week, Dec. 10-14. Kids’s applications will happen within the Story Tower, and teenage applications shall be within the TECH Lab.
Kids’s applications for ages as much as 12 years embody:
Children Able to Code: Four-5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9 and Friday, Dec. 13. Study starting coding by animation and different enjoyable video games. No information or expertise is required.

Code Your Personal Hero: 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10. Work with Scratch coding and design a superhero.
Figurative Language: 6-7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13. Discover figurative language like metaphors and hyperbole by designing a pc program the place characters discover these figurative parts.

The applications are free and open to the general public. Billings Public Library is holding these applications as a part of Google’s CS First initiative, and has obtained a $300 mini-grant to assist create extra coding alternatives for youth on the library.
